Location of Start Bay

Service A trawler suffered engine room flooding to which Salcombe Lifeboat was launched. In view

of the water ingress problems Salcombe escorted the vessel towards Brixham. Torbay

lifeboat launched to take over the escort from mid Start Bay to Brixham avoiding Salcombe

being too far off station.

Location of 5.5 miles SE of Berry Head

Service Converted Fishing Vessel 'Husky' suffered hydraulic failure resulting in very restricted steering

and requiring assistance to make port. ALB launched to the vessel and escorted them to

Brixham all OK.

Additional Pilot Boat and passing ships in the vicinity requiring avoiding actions..

Location of Petitor, Babbacombe

Service Launched to support a Police operation searching for a high risk individual. Missing person

was located by the Police Helicopter and the ALB stood by until the casualty was in safe hands.
